Our work
The growth of Africa’s bioeconomy is constrained by the lack of capacity to translate the outputs of research and development into products in the clinic and on the market.
Matumaini Therapeutics is a private enterprise launched to address this gap through local development and production of biologics to meet health and bioeconomy needs of the continent. We intend to democratize regional biomanufacturing capacity for protein products by providing bioinspired health products to the market and technology transfer packages for high value biopharmaceuticals to meet the needs of the region.
